THEY ARE GOOD HEADED, CLEAN LEGGED, NATURALLY QUIET AND LAID BACK, EASY TO TRAIN, HAVE GREAT BONE AND FEET, ARE VERY CORRECT AND THEY ARE 'BEAUTIFUL'! THEY ARE NOT 17+ HANDS TALL! THEY ARE NOT 'ROMAN NOSED', CLUNKY OR UGLY. We think Tiny is giving us the perfect cross! They are a lot stronger and 'thicker' than any Quarter Horse and most importantly, THEY HAVE GREAT BONE AND REALLY GOOD FEET! They have good 'saddle backs' with great withers! Ranchers and cowboys love them! Recreational riders love them! People raising them to sell love them!!! They are not extremely tall and leggy like the Thoroughbred crosses are. These draft cross colts are quiet and gentle natured but still have a lot more athletic ability than straight draft horses or Belgian crosses. These cows can weigh over 1600# and a lot of the bulls weigh over a ton. At the same time, many ranches are now raising rodeo stock, particularly bucking bulls for the big PBR and PRCA rodeos. During that time, people have been getting a lot bigger while the good cowbred horses (particularly good cutting horses) have gotten a lot smaller. Well, we have raised good saddle horses for more than 50 years.
